A Giclée print is a high-resolution, archival quality digital print produced on a special large format printer using an ink-jet process and is a recognized fine art printmaking method just like lithographs and serigraphs. Giclée prints render deep saturated colors and retain minute detail, subtle tints and blends.
In our case, our print-maker uses UltraChrome Inks, with excellent resolution, water resistance and a durability of over 75 years. They use Wide Color Gamut Smooth Matte paper. Canvas or other papers are available by special order. We may also be able to accomodate requests for larger sizes but that depends on the particular original piece.
Our prints are unmatted and unframed and are shipped directly from our printer, rolled in a tube. They come in three sizes Small (approx 11" X 14" : $20.00, Medium (approx. 16" X 20" : $35.00) and Large (approx 24" X 36" :: $60.00, as well as in a set of six assorted notecards at $17.00/set. There is a $5 packing and handling charge fee added along with shipping costs in the shopping cart. Matting and framing are available at extra cost but may significantly increase both delivery time and shipping costs.
